Our story

Sofresco's story is undoubtedly a juicy one.
We are part of a family with over 70 years of experience cultivating land and growing produce. So we know our resources and all that nature has to offer. It all started 80 years ago, when the Gilman Family (still present in the business) founded their company for distribution of raw materials, back in 1942.
With time, we moved our focus to food distribution and, in 2009, decided to take a leap and become producers, moving our core business to the food production. But it didn't stop there!

The company continued to grow, as well as our desire to do more and be more innovative, which led us to the USA, where we expanded our business and created Sofresco, in 2019.

We hold ourselves to the highest standards, only working with the freshest ingredients and using systems and techniques that maintain each ingredient’s original qualities in each of our juices—no shortcuts, no excuses. We don’t use any genetically modified organisms (GMOs), artificial flavors, or colorants.Our cold-pressed, HPP juices are 100% natural, with clean labels and simple ingredients.


SQF – Safe Quality Food, is a global food safety initiative (GFSI) that is benchmarked for the highest level of food safety based on Hazard analysis critical control points ( HACCP). Our company undergoes an annual audit certified by a third-party company to ensure we remain in compliance with FDA, and GFSI.

KOSHER – The facility and juices comply with standards in accordance with traditional Jewish law; Our juices are fit for consumption for such people with dietary restrictions.
